The initiative is in effect from October 14, 2023, through January 13, 2024, and is a remarkable opportunity for families and individuals to reconnect with nature without breaking the bank. With 175 state parks, Florida boasts a diverse range of natural spaces, including picturesque trails, historic sites, and miles of pristine coastline. Notably, Florida State Parks have been recognized four times by the National Recreation and Parks Association as a Gold Medal award winner, recognizing its national significance and exceptional quality, the first park system in the nation to win four of these awards.

For those looking to make the most of this fantastic offer, the Family Annual State Park Pass is now available for a mere $60 (plus tax), while Individual Annual Passes can be acquired for just $30 (plus tax). Meanwhile, fishing and hunting lovers can secure the highly coveted Gold Sportsman licenses at a reduced rate of 50%, presenting an excellent opportunity to delve into Florida’s unparalleled fishing and hunting scenes.

The FWC Gold Sportsman licenses include saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing, and hunting privileges and permits at the following rates, plus tax:

  • Annual Gold Sportsman $50.75
  • 5-year Gold Sportsman $247.75


Lifetime Sportsman’s License:

  • Age 4 and Under $201.50
  • Age 5-12 $351.50
  • Age 13+ $501.50
