About Me

Hi, I’m Kali!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Back in college, I dreamed of studying abroad. Although this didn’t pan out, I was determined to see more of the world. After reading and learning as much as I could about how to travel affordably, I discovered an error-fare flight from the US to Oslo, Norway for $124 round-trip! Because error-fare pricing can quickly disappear, I was faced with going alone or not going at all. This is how my first trip abroad ended up being solo!

Today, I continue to explore new destinations for next to nothing with the help of price tracking, credit card rewards, and an open mind. I usually have no specific destination – I search for flights to broad destinations and select the most affordable airfare. With this strategy, I technically start researching a country after a flight is booked. I am continually amazed by the things to do in each of these destinations that I would never have known about otherwise. I full-heartedly believe this is one of the best ways to travel!

My goal with this blog is to show that travel can be affordable and attainable. I hope you take each post as inspiration for your next big trip!

Here are a few of the highlights from my travels so far:
